Under consideration πŸ€”(28)

  1. 1

Expand the promo price list control to include exact times

Currently, with promotional price lists, you can only specify a start and end date. We would appreciate it if you could also set an exact start and end time. This would help us plan price promotions more effectively and set start and end times outside of regular business hours.

    #Improvement πŸ‘#Pricing/Price Lists πŸ’°
  2. 2

    Display absolute price per option

Currently, options in the configurator can show only the price difference relative to the base (e.g. "+$20"). It would be useful to also display the actual price of each option itself. The price should be dynamic β€” recalculating based on the current configuration state, since selecting other options may affect what a given option costs. Example: if a chair has an armrest option, the option card should display its exact price (e.g. $15) rather than only the delta. If selecting a premium fabric makes the armrest more expensive, or a simpler material makes it cheaper, the displayed price should update automatically to reflect that.

    #πŸ†• New feature
  3. 1

    Add Transparency Order

When a product contains several transparent parts, the configurator can sometimes display them in the wrong order. For example, a lamp may have a glass bulb placed inside a glass shade. At some viewing angles, the configurator cannot correctly identify which part is inside and which is outside. As a result, the bulb may appear in front of the shade, or parts of the glass may look incorrect or disappear. We would like to add a Transparency Order setting for each 3D element. It would allow us to define which transparent part should be displayed first. Example: Glass bulb β€” displayed first Glass shade β€” displayed second, on top of the bulb This would keep overlapping glass elements looking correct when the customer rotates or views the product from different angles.

  4. 1

Copy & Paste Rules Between Products

Allow rules (certain trigger and action combinations) to be reused (e.g., copied and pasted) across products, instead of recreating or modifying them individually. This is specifically needed when we have a rule with, let's say, 4 triggers and 5 actions across several similar products β€” it would be much easier to be able to copy and paste it somehow.

  5. 1

Keep billboard labels visible when rotating 3D products

Improve Billboard Mode so 3D labels, dimensions, hotspots, and callouts remain readable when a product is rotated. Currently, billboard objects can be set to face the camera, but they may still become hidden behind parts of the product or appear inside the model depending on the viewing angle. This feature would add optional occlusion handling for billboard objects, allowing labels to remain visible while still being linked to their real position on the product. Possible options could include: Standard Billboard Mode β€” current behaviour. Always on Top β€” useful for icons, hotspots, and UI markers. Camera Safe β€” moves the visible label slightly forward when product geometry would block it, while optionally showing a leader line back to the original anchor point. This would be especially useful for dimensions, annotations, hotspots, feature labels, and guided product configuration experiences. 6. 3

    Engraving in Print on Demand

Ability to type custom text and freely move, rotate, and scale it across the printable area for personalised engraved products. You should be able to pick font type, size, style etc. as in current engraving widget settings.

  7. 1

    Export Quote Information

We would like to be able to export data about the quotation to Excel or CSV, such as List of quotes, the status, value, created date etcDetils for each quote like list of products etc

  8. 4

Adding product configuration QR code to pdf

Please consider adding a QR code to generated product PDF that directs users to the exact product configuration in Mimeeq. This feature creates a seamless bridge between static documents and live product data, allowing prospects reviewing a PDF to immediately access an interactive version of their configuration with a simple scan.

Show thumbnails of 2D layers in "Show 2d Layers" rule actions.

This allows easier rule creating while being able to see the selected 2d layer images at first glance without the need to go to the media library.

  10. 4

Edit Configured Products Directly from Cart (Shopify)

Currently, when a customer wants to modify a configured product that's already in their cart, they need to add it to cart again as a separate line item. This creates duplicate entries and a confusing cart experience. We would like the ability for customers to edit/update their configured product directly from the cart page, overriding the existing cart item rather than creating a new line item. This would provide a cleaner, more intuitive cart management experience for customers making changes to their custom configurations.

Will Happen (Date not Set)🫑 (29)

  1. 1

    Conditional required snaps

Currently, a snap can only be marked as required at the product level. The validation does not take into account whether that snap is currently visible based on option switches or visibility rules. As a result, a hidden required snap still blocks the user from reaching the finish screen and triggers an β€œincorrect configuration” error. Example: A sofa is available in two depths: 80 cm and 90 cm. The required snap is visible only when 90 cm is selected and hidden when 80 cm is selected. However, when the user selects 80 cm, the hidden snap is still treated as required and prevents them from completing the configuration. Expected behaviour: A required snap should be validated only when it is visible in the current configuration. If visibility rules hide the snap, it should not block the user from reaching the finish screen.

  2. 3

Lead capture form before file download

Request for the ability to gate items in the Downloads section behind a lead capture form β€” i.e. collect user details before the file is released, not after. Current state: Mimeeq only exposes the mimeeq-download-file event, which fires after the download has already happened. This allows a form to be shown post-download, but doesn't prevent access to the file. Pre-download gating is not a standard feature and currently requires custom implementation on the client side. Requested behaviour: a built-in option to trigger a form (or arbitrary action) before the download starts, blocking the file until the form is submitted. Ideally configurable per download item. Use case: standard lead-gen pattern for spec sheets, brochures, CAD files, etc. β€” capturing prospect data in exchange for gated assets.

  3. 1

Modular configurator – show unavailable elements at reduced opacity instead of hiding them

Currently, when a user configures a modular product (e.g. a sofa), elements that cannot be added to the current configuration are hidden entirely in the snappable approach. We would like to have an option to keep all modules choice visible and reduce the opacity of unavailable one, so users understand the full product range even when specific modules can't be attached at that moment.

    #Improvement πŸ‘#Configurator (Modular)
  4. 1

Show valid and invalid placement positions in modular configurations before clicking

When adding or duplicating products inside a modular configuration, Mimeeq should help users understand which placement positions are actually valid before they add the item. For example, if a cabinet, shelf, or other modular product would collide with something already in the scene, the configurator could hide that placement position, disable it, or show it as unavailable. Possible behaviours: Check candidate add positions against existing products in the scene. Prevent users from placing items where they would collide. Show a ghosted preview of the item when hovering over a placement position. Visually indicate when a placement position is invalid. Recalculate valid positions as the modular layout changes. Why this matters: This would make modular configuration clearer and faster by preventing impossible placements before the user commits the action. It would also make the add/duplicate flow feel more guided, especially in dense cabinet, shelving, or furniture layouts.

  5. 2

AI-assisted product setup and automation tools for Mimeeq

Description Customers managing many products often repeat the same setup steps across variants, configurations, renders, and product data. Today, much of this work still requires manual navigation through the Mimeeq dashboard, even when the task follows a repeatable pattern. It would be useful to have an AI-friendly toolkit or integration layer that allows technical users to automate common Mimeeq workflows from tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, scripts, or internal systems. Example use cases could include: creating or updating product and variant settings in bulkpulling product/configuration data into internal reportsautomating repetitive setup steps across similar productsconnecting Mimeeq data with ecommerce, ERP, PIM, or internal toolsspeeding up workflows where users currently need many manual clicksmaking Mimeeq easier to operate for technical teams without needing to know every detail of the platform UI The value would be in giving approved technical users a safer, structured way to control repeatable platform tasks and connect Mimeeq into their wider automation workflows.

Take Prices from Shopify Instead of Mimeeq

We would like for prices to be taken directly from shopify instead of the Mimeeq app; this allows us not to have to update the Mimeeq backend with each change in shopify or we would like the Mimeeq app to update every time there is a change in the pricing in Shopify.

Constraints on some texts in Engravin widget

It would be great if we could add the feature that constrains the text you can add to the engraving widget. For example, if I am allowed to engrave on the Nike shoe, I should be prevented from typing "Adidas" in the engraving field.

Understand how customers use your configurators and where they move through the buying journey with detailed analytics. Explore performance across different date ranges, products and configurators, including: Configurator views, unique users and sessions Full conversion funnels from opening the configurator through option changes, add to cart and completed checkout Add-to-cart, cart-to-purchase, purchase conversion and abandonment rates Usage and conversion by product, configurator, device and entry page Engagement depth, most explored steps and popular configurations AR, PDF and image export usage Revenue, average order value and revenue per visitor where purchase data is available Use these insights to compare product performance, identify drop-off points, understand which features influence conversion and find opportunities to improve the customer journey. Please note: Analytics availability, included features, data-retention periods, reporting options and dashboard types will vary by subscription plan. Custom dashboards and advanced reporting may only be available on selected plans.

  2. 3

AI Studio packshots with transparent PNG backgrounds

Customers can currently use AI Studio to generate product packshots with different colour backgrounds. We would like to add the ability to generate packshot outputs with transparent PNG backgrounds, so product images can be used more easily across catalogues, ecommerce pages, configurators, presentations, and marketing layouts. Ideally this would support two output options: Full product cut-outProduct cut-out with shadow preservation This would reduce manual Photoshop work and make AI Studio outputs more useful for production-ready product imagery.

  3. 5

Reuse Previously Applied Colors in Color Picker

Enable users to quickly select colors that have already been applied elsewhere in the project directly from the color picker. This eliminates the need to manually copy and paste hex codes, allowing for faster, more consistent design workflows. The feature could show a palette of recently used or project-wide colors for easy access. Idea from customer: Revival Fightwear

Add Colour Picker Droplet Selector to Colour Picker

It would be great to have a droplet for the colour picker that allows users to select colours from the 3D canvas or any object on the screen to match the customised material. For instance, if you have a chair with green fabric, you could use the colour picker to choose the same green shade from this fabric as the base colour.

Ability to Add Freely movable Items to the modular scenes

It would be great if there is the ability to be able to add other items to the modular scene and not just the ones connected with the modular product itself. For example if you have a sofa set it would be great to be able to add a coffee table and this item can be freely dragged into position.

Option to Upload a Preview for Filters

Currently, filters only support color swatches as visual previews. Would be useful to add the ability to upload custom images (thumbnails/icons) that appear next to filter names, making it easier for users to identify and select filters visually. Examples: Material filters could show actual texture previews for "Oak", "Walnut", and "Pine" instead of just text labels. Feature-based filters like "Eco-friendly" could display a green leaf icon.

Allow the visual customisation of the option panel in shared products

Currently the option panel in shared products can't be customised β€” we're limited to whatever the product owner has configured, with no way to adapt it on our end. We'd like the ability to customise: Widget types β€” choose which widget is used for each option Widget styles β€” control the styling/appearance of those widgets Option group assignment β€” assign options to different option groups This would let us tailor shared products to our own needs rather than being locked into the product owner's setup.

Supporting csv upload for custom fields (sets)

Entering large amounts of data manually into custom fields is time-consuming when setting up products that contain extensive manufacturing information.
