  1. AI Studio packshots with transparent PNG backgrounds

Customers can currently use AI Studio to generate product packshots with different colour backgrounds. We would like to add the ability to generate packshot outputs with transparent PNG backgrounds, so product images can be used more easily across catalogues, ecommerce pages, configurators, presentations, and marketing layouts. Ideally this would support two output options: Full product cut-outProduct cut-out with shadow preservation This would reduce manual Photoshop work and make AI Studio outputs more useful for production-ready product imagery.

  2. Separation of Global and Local Options in Modular Configurator

Overview Currently, all configuration options are displayed together, which can cause confusion for users who are unsure whether a change applies to the entire product or only to a specific module/element. This request proposes splitting options into two clearly distinct sections. Problem Statement In a modular configurator, some options affect the entire product globally (e.g. fabric color, material finish), while others are specific to an individual module (e.g. open/closed door on a single cabinet, leg style on one section). Mixing these together in a single panel creates a poor user experience and increases the risk of unintended changes. Proposed Solution Divide the options panel into two clearly labelled sections: Global Options β€” settings that apply to the entire configuration at once (e.g. color, material, finish, fabric). Changes here update all modules simultaneously. Local Options β€” settings that apply only to the currently selected module (e.g. open door, drawer type, add-ons). Changes here affect only the highlighted element.

  3. Shortening url mechanism

When a customer uses the product configurator, their selected options are encoded into the page URL. This allows configurations to be shared via link, which is valuable for sales workflows and customer collaboration. However, the resulting URLs are extremely long making them fragile and prone to breaking when copied across email, chat, or other communication channels. Request: Please consider introducing a link shortening mechanism that generates a short, opaque URL for any configuration that can be easily shared.

  4. AI-assisted product setup and automation tools for Mimeeq

Description Customers managing many products often repeat the same setup steps across variants, configurations, renders, and product data. Today, much of this work still requires manual navigation through the Mimeeq dashboard, even when the task follows a repeatable pattern. It would be useful to have an AI-friendly toolkit or integration layer that allows technical users to automate common Mimeeq workflows from tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, scripts, or internal systems. Example use cases could include: creating or updating product and variant settings in bulkpulling product/configuration data into internal reportsautomating repetitive setup steps across similar productsconnecting Mimeeq data with ecommerce, ERP, PIM, or internal toolsspeeding up workflows where users currently need many manual clicksmaking Mimeeq easier to operate for technical teams without needing to know every detail of the platform UI The value would be in giving approved technical users a safer, structured way to control repeatable platform tasks and connect Mimeeq into their wider automation workflows.

  5. Isolated Agent Accounts / "View Only Mine" Data Visibility for External Users

As a company working with external sales agents and partners, we need the ability to set up user accounts where agents can only see the data they have personally created (quotes, clients, companies), with no visibility into the internal team's data or other agents' data. What do we want to acheive: We are currently working with the external agents (third-party partners, not internal employees) who need to use the Mimeeq configurator to create quotes and offers for their own clients. The core requirement is: Each agent can log in and create quotations independentlyEach agent sees only their own clients, companies, and quotesThe internal sales team's data remains completely private and hidden from agentsAgents cannot see each other's data either

  6. Z-Axis Movement in Modular Configurator

Currently, users can move modular elements along the X and Y axes. I'd like to propose adding Z-axis (depth) movement to unlock a new level of creative freedom. What it enables: Stacking and layering modules at different depthsMore realistic spatial configurations (e.g. stepped shelving, elevated sections)Better representation of real-world setups where items aren't always on the same plane Use cases: Furniture configurators where cushions, shelves or add-ons sit at different heightsModular wall systems with protruding or recessed elementsAny product where depth variation is part of the design This would bring the configurator much closer to a true 3D spatial planning tool rather than a flat layout editor.

  7. Price difference display - shared option sets

Problem: The price difference display feature relies on additional price codes assigned at the option set level. This works well when a single option set maps to products with identical price differences β€” but breaks down when the same option set is reused across multiple products whose additional price codes carry different values. Example: an "GP1" fabrics option set is shared by different products. The GP1 fabric surcharge is $50 for the Evora Sofa, $80 for Calm Pouf, and $120 for the California Corner Sofa β€” but the additional price codes on the option set can only hold one value. Customers either see incorrect price differences or the feature cannot be enabled at all. Proposed solutions: Per-product override Allow to set a different additional price code on a specific product's widget config β€” without touching the shared option set. Products without an override just keep using the option set's default. Dynamic code pattern Allow the additional price code field to accept a pattern. Instead of typing for instance one fixed code: AddPriceGP1, you'd type {product#AddPriceGP1} β€” and app fills in the right product code automatically.

  9. Flexible Layout & Expandable Panels for Product Rows in Modular Configurator

Overview This request proposes two improvements to the product row panel on the left side of the modular configurator: an alternative layout option and resizable panel behaviour. Similar resizing functionality could also be mirrored on the right-side panel. Problem Statement Currently, product rows on the left side are displayed in a fixed two-row format. As the number of modules grows, this layout can become cluttered and difficult to navigate. Users also have no way to collapse the panel to free up screen space for the 3D view, which limits overall usability. Additionally, panels are fixed to the screen size even when there is available space to expand them, preventing users from seeing more module options at once. Proposed Solution Alternative layout for product rows β€” provide at least one additional layout option for the left panel, such as a single-row horizontal scroll, a grid, or a compact list view. Users could toggle between layouts based on their preference or screen size. Resizable panels β€” allow panels to be resized by the user by dragging their edges, expanding to fill available screen space.

  10. Modular Configurator Ideas

Hey Folks Here are some ideas we want to implement in Early 2023 Interested in feedback Insert Items between others, example add a middle sofa element between 2 others (optional setting) When deleting, allow auto reconnect from the surrounding elements (optional setting) Better UI for dimensions with the ability to pick the unit of measure and apply unit rounding) Better highlighting of selected objects (drop the current bounding box) Improved UI/UX, especially to have all things on the screen at all times, so adding products will feel more natural and connected Pick the initial connection position when there is more than one position (function known as the flip function), currently, there is no order, and it is chosen at random We have many more ideas, but these are the ones on the to-do list soon.

  11. Basket Feature With Ability to send as an Order or Request Quote

It would be great to have an add to basket function where we could do the following: Add multiple Items to a Basket. Add notes to the line items. Send the Basket as Order or Quote Request. When sending the Order/Request the submitter should be able to add their details, such as; Name, Email, Company Name, Address, Phone number and Notes sections. When the basket is submitted an email confirmation is sent to the submitting party as well as the to the merchant.

  12. Online baking

An online portal where we can upload our Blender files, bake them and re-download automatically. It would allow us to carry out testing and try fixes of our models quickly and efficiently.

  13. Optional Material for Ar (Augmented Reality)

With this feature, the product admin can assign a specific material to use with Augmented Reality Why is this Important/Useful Many advanced 3d material parameters are not supported in AR You can read about that https://help.mimeeq.com/en/article/material-parameters-not-supported-by-ar-l0q671/ When creating complex materials like velvet which uses for example Anisotropy, the result on the browser looks great but for AR the material can appear completely different, specifically and importantly a different tone. By adding an alternate material for AR the product admin can make a simplified material for AR and the result is that you do not have to compromise your browser rendered model.

  15. Watermark Integration for PDF Documents

Please consider adding customizable watermarks to generated PDF documents to reinforce brand identity. This feature strengthens brand presence while protecting proprietary configurations and adding a layer of professionalism to the document. Ideally, this would be implemented as a no-code solution, allowing users to easily configure watermarks without technical expertise.
